But I have so many songs from these shows that they fill up all of the next album in this series, and most of the one after that. The second half of this album comes from these Fillmore shows. Instead of playing their usual set list, they decided to let it all hang out and play lots of rarities and covers, as well as having a variety of special guests join them. These shows are celebrated by fans as well as the band. In 1997, Petty and his band played about twenty concerts in a row at the Fillmore in San Francisco. That means the sound quality is excellent, though the one unreleased song ("On the Road Again") is only from a decent sounding audience bootleg. The first half is songs from 1992 to 1995, with all but one of them officially released. This album is basically split into two parts.
